**REMOTE POSITION LOCAL TO CINCINNATI OHIO, applicants need to be located in Cincinnati as you will be traveling to local sites within the Cincinnati metro area. No overnight travel obligations, only local travel.

As an Application Specialist / Controls Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering automation solutions and technical support to our customers. This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including system implementation, engineering support, and technical training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automation solutions using Rockwell Automation platforms.
• Act as an on-site technical resource, working alongside customers' maintenance and engineering teams.
• Develop comprehensive control system designs and documentation.
• Conduct start-up and commissioning for AC and DC drives.
• Create and deliver training programs to educate customers on automation technologies.
• Perform plant floor assessments to identify opportunities for process optimization.

• Provide high-quality automation solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to offer expert guidance.
• Maintain a strong technical understanding of automation systems and controls.
• Collaborate with the sales team and automation specialists to support new business opportunities.
• Keep all stakeholders informed of project progress and key developments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree .
• 5+ years of experience in delivering automation solutions. (Experience with Rockwell Automation controllers and HMIs required; expertise in Drives, Motion Control, Networking, or Safety is a plus.)
• Strong technical background in industrial automation.
