Work on control systems engineering and designs for large industrial projects in midstream gas processing, petroleum refining, petrochemical, and upstream oil & gas industries.Responsibilities/CompetenciesAct as a control systems engineer for selected projects.10% - Interact with other engineering disciplines, engineering and construction project managers, and clients5% - Provide input to the initial project schedule and support the regular maintenance of project schedules for designated projects.20% - Work process quality review and drawing approval in the capacity of a lead engineer.30% - Responsible for PLC/DCS Programming and HMI configuration.10% - Develop IO List from P&IDs and vendor drawings.10% - Perform Hardware / Software Factory Acceptance Tests and Hardware Acceptance Tests for the plant control system.15% - Perform control system commissioning at project site.Provide man hour and equipment estimates for project proposals.Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities.Self-motivated with ability to work with others.RequirementsBS. in Electrical Engineering or B.S. in Engineering with equivalent I/E & control systems experience required.5+ years' experience required, 10+ years preferred.Must have Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs and Wonderware HMI development experience.Delta V Programming experience is a plus.Industrial networking experience is a plus.Should be a self-learner and willing to go extra mile to accomplish tasks.EIT licensure required or the ability to get licensed after joining the company.Must have trouble shooting skills.Must have commissioning and start-up experience.Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.Strong verbal and written communication skills required.Record of success working in a team cultureProfessional and ethicalStrong Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Well developed, detail oriented organizational skills.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Ability to stand for extended periods of time.Ability to walk the property and laydown yards.Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
