Join this world leader in the planning and implementation of paint shops for the automotive industry utilising robot solutions for innovative projects.\n\nControls Commissioning Engineer\n\n£50,000 - £55,000 OTE £70,000+\n\n7.5% Pension Contribution\n\n10% Annual Bonus\n\nCompany Car or Car Allowance\n\nWest Midlands Ref: 24270\n\nWith a HNC or equivalent level of qualification in a software / electrical engineering or related discipline, you will have a background of working within a tier 1 controls system supplier or system integrator.\n\nYou will have experience in design and fault finding in a control system environment.\n\nExperience in designing and coding PLC programs with knowledge of Siemens Step7/TIA and/or Rockwell\n\nControl Logix programming software. \n\nYou will also have experience of designing SCADA systems and use of relevant programming such as Javascript, C# or VB script using the best suited programming paradigm for the task.\n\nA methodical work ethic with strong communication and problem solving skills required\n\nSelf-motivated and have the ability to prioritise planned workloads while working under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will need to have a flexible approach to meet industry needs and be able to work independently and within a team\n\nContractually based in the Midlands, you will spend the vast majority of your time working on customer sites around the UK and sometimes overseas, for either short and extended periods (4-6 weeks max)\n\nFlexible with regards to travel and working time since weekends and some shift work will be required\n\nThis role is based in the West Midlands and would be commutable from Birmingham, Solihull, Tamworth, Redditch etc\n\nThe ideal candidate will be totally flexible to travel, work weekends and support clients within main shutdown periods.\n\nThis is a great opportunity to join a leading company offering training, personal progression and lots of earning potential\n\nFor further information call Sharon Hill on (phone number removed)
