Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of control systems for re-manufactured drivetrain products and manufacturing processes.
Position Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, for drivetrain components and assembly lines
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and industrial PCs using various platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Rockwell Automation
- Develop and implement control algorithms and strategies to optimize system performance, efficiency, and reliability
- Conduct system integration, testing, and commissioning of control systems
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing control systems, resolving issues and identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to ensure seamless integration of control systems
- Prepare technical documentation, including control system specifications, programming code, and user manuals
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial control systems design and programming
- Proficient in programming such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and object-oriented programming
- Strong understanding of control theory, system dynamics, and industrial automation standards
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus
- Experience with HMI development and SCADA systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills

REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM:
If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days , depending on customer payment terms.
