Title: Manager, Corporate Compliance
Location: Hybrid (Office-based Tuesdays & Wednesdays)
Salary: $85,000 - $110,400 with a $10,500 role is eligible for a annual bonus
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic compliance professional to join our team as a Manager, Corporate Compliance. This role is responsible for reviewing proposed arrangements with referral sources, ensuring compliance with federal fraud, waste, and abuse laws, and mitigating compliance risks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the Anti-Kickback Statute and healthcare regulatory frameworks, with the ability to assess compliance risks beyond contractual terms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and review proposed agreements with referral sources to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Analyze and interpret the Anti-Kickback Statute and other healthcare compliance laws to mitigate organizational risk.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, legal teams, and compliance colleagues, to address compliance matters.
- Assess compliance risk holistically by reviewing business rationale, partner selection criteria, and fair market value considerations.
- Review and provide guidance on medical director agreements, personal services agreements, transactions, and leases to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prioritize arrangement reviews and projects based on business needs and compliance priorities.
- Advise on compliance matters related to federal healthcare regulations and provide guidance to leadership.
- Manage special projects related to corporate compliance as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required; JD, LLM, or MSL .
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance or legal roles.
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess compliance risk beyond contractual terms.
- Experience working directly with business leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into actionable insights.
- Experience using Salesforce is a plus.
- Ability to work in-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with additional days as required for meetings.
- Occasional travel for out-of-state conferences (at least once per year).
