Description :Department OverviewThere are various businesses under Commerce & Marketing Company such as Rakuten Ichiba, Rakuten Travel, Marketing Business and so on. The position is responsible for Marketing Business which covers Advertisement, Data and Media. Business Planning Department is an organization that includes corporate planning, finance and general accounting and this is a position for corporate planning.Our mission is to manage and monitor performance metrics in alignment with business strategies, collaborate with various departments, and support the development and execution of business plans in accordance with the company's vision.We are an organization that focuses on providing recommendations to management through planning and designing key performance indicators (KPI) to visualize various business situations and its data analysis. We work closely with the executive team and have the opportunity to be involved in management decision-making from a managerial accounting perspective.This position involves managing the budget and performance analysis of various services within the department. Additionally, we are responsible for organizing and setting up regular reporting meetings with the management team.In addition, promoting AI utilization is currently a group-wide mission and we, as Finance Section, is also committed to improving productivity and output quality through AI utilization.The department is responsible for managing business P/L of various marketing services and solutions. As a corporate planning professional, it is critical to identify and make recommendations to the management on business challenges/opportunities taking into account the synergy of each solution.Position:Why We HireTo fill a vacant positionPosition DetailsManagerial accounting based on strategies related to advertising/data/media.- Budget planning- Various management analysis and preparation of reporting data/materials for the management team- Suppoting strategy-making process for various related businesses- Documentation and operation of regular meetings- Leading new business planning- Collaboration with Rakuten Group global offices and other tasks related to overseas markets- Creation of data/materials requested by the management team and cross-functional coordination and management- Business portfolio analysis and productivity analysisThere are also many coordination and reporting tasks with department heads, business managers within the company, executive officers, and directors.
