We are seeking a Corporate Solutions Architect to play a critical role in driving sales, supporting contract programs, and ensuring corporate compliance with IT and security requirements.
Sales and Business Development:
- Lead the development of technical solutions that align with client needs and support proposal efforts for government and DoD contracts.
- Write detailed and compelling proposals, including compliance matrices, technical approaches, and past performance.
- Engage with prospective clients to understand requirements, present solutions, and position Ares as a trusted partner.
- Collaborate with business development teams to identify and pursue new opportunities aligned with Ares’ capabilities.
- Represent Ares at industry conferences, client meetings, and networking events to promote services and expand client relationships.
Contract Program Support:
- Provide technical support on contract programs, ensuring solutions meet client specifications and comply with security and operational standards.
- Collaborate with program managers to deliver high-quality outcomes and address technical challenges.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for DoD policies, security requirements, and technical standards across programs.
IT Compliance and Security:
- Lead initiatives to achieve and maintain compliance with CMMC, ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, and CMMI standards.
- Develop and implement corporate IT compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular internal audits to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Stay current on DoD security requirements, including RMF and NIST standards, and ensure organizational alignment.
- Support the integration of secure systems and infrastructure for both internal operations and client programs.
Corporate Strategy and Growth:
- Provide strategic input on emerging technologies, DoD priorities, and industry trends to guide corporate growth.
- Identify opportunities to expand Ares’ capabilities and offerings, with a focus on innovation and compliance.
- Partner with leadership to develop scalable processes and tools to support corporate growth.
Requirements:Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (Master’s ).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in solution architecture, IT compliance, or business development within government contracting or the DoD.
Skills and Competencies:
- Demonstrated experience in proposal writing, with a strong track record of contributing to successful contract awards.
- Expertise in developing technical solutions for government contracts, including familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of DoD policies, security requirements, and standards such as RMF and NIST 800-171.
- Proven ability to lead compliance initiatives for frameworks such as CMMC, ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, and CMMI.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, cybersecurity, and cloud-based solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CISSP, PMP, ITIL, or ISO Lead Auditor are highly desirable.
- Experience supporting small businesses in achieving compliance with government and industry standards.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, cybersecurity tools, and enterprise architecture.
- Hands-on experience with DoD contract programs and public sector IT systems.
