Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join our client for a hybrid opportunity (you must be located in one of the following areas: Sarasota, FL, Cleveland, OH, or Shawnee, KS)! As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing federal and state income tax compliance for our group of companies in the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and strategic individual with a strong background in corporate income tax and leadership. This Direct-Hire opportunity is offering an annual salary of $115,000-$145,000/year!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the federal and state income tax compliance for our group of companies in the United States.

• Conduct detailed reviews and provide guidance to the tax team in the preparation of quarterly estimates, extensions, income tax returns, and annual provision calculations.

• Effectively assign responsibilities to staff, ensuring that all required deadlines are met with precision.

• Conduct detailed reviews of state apportionment and state modification calculations.

• Facilitate data gathering with accounting teams and third-party advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.

• Research, coordinate, and provide relevant information for document request responses to Federal and state auditors, as needed.

• Responsible for corporate tax accounts for financial reporting purposes, ensuring that activity and balances are accurately reconciled.

• Actively participate in special projects and perform technical tax research as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; CPA preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of corporate income tax experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.

• Ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy.

• Strong accounting skills, analytical thinking, and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Advanced skills in MS Excel are required; SAP and/or Oracle knowledge is a plus
