Job Summary:
OnePointe Solutions LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cost Engineer Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors and customers. They will collaborate closely with clients to ensure their needs are met throughout the project process and manage projects from initial estimate through the formalization of subcontracts, ensuring all aspects remain on schedule and adhere to company policies.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, customers, and internal teams.
• Meet with clients and engineering staff to determine design concepts that fit client needs.
• Confer with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
• Prepare and assemble detailed estimates for selecting vendors or subcontractors and communicate project costs effectively.
• Oversee projects from the first estimate through the finalization of subcontracts, ensuring compliance with internal policies and project timelines.
• Consult with clients, vendors, engineers, personnel from other departments, and construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve any project-related issues.
• Confirm the accuracy of layout and design drawings and analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent based on a valid credentials evaluation.
• Minimum of 24 months of experience as a Project Engineer or in a related field.
• At least 12 months of experience using CAD software.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
