We are looking for a CPP Mechanical Package Superintendent with the following details :

End Date : MAR 2025

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Education to HND/BTS level or COMPANY approved equivalent in engineering discipline.
- Professional Experience (number of years): 15.
- Experience within project: (number of years): 10.
- Construction experience is required on installation of topsides rotating equipment packaged units (gas turbines, compressors, generators, pumps), and practical knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as EN, ISO, ASTM, NACE and SSPC.
- Experience on construction yard is required.
- A good knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Standards and International codes/standards related to design, fabrication and inspection.
- Good leadership skills and good communication skills.
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
- Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e-mail communications.
- Familiar with PRODOM/MANASA.
- Language: English mandatory.
- H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To follow, to monitor and to supervise Mechanical (the discipline) activities carried out by CPP Contractor and Subcontractor/Vendors at the main Topside Construction site during the Construction and Pre-commissioning phases, ensuring that his discipline's contractual and technical requirements are duly applied by Contractor and/or Subcontractors.
- To ascertain that the CPP Topsides facilities are built as per the project requirements, the job holder verify and approve Contractor's and/or Subcontractors/Vendors' drawings, fabrication procedures and methodologies, and ensure that Contractor and/or Subcontractors/Vendors have adequate equipment, resources, means and manpower to performed the job with the required quality level and to compete it in due time.
- He reports on a day-to-day basis directly to the Topside Company Site Representative.
- To lead several Yard Supervisors, and, as such, is acting as a team leader, informing and motivating them adequately and giving them clear priorities/directions for the performance of their duties. He also provides them support and assistance in their organisation, job scheduling and coordination with other disciplines to ensure quality and timely completion of their work.
- To provide assistance to the Topside Construction team with all matters related to his discipline and organise its pre-commissioning activities in close coordination with the commissioning team.
- The job holder is also accountable for demonstrating, individually, an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules & requirements.
- To implement the COMPANY Technical Referential and applicable local and international codes.
- To verify and to confirm that all equipment are protected/preserved during all duration of the project as per vendor's requirement
- The Job holder may also have to be involved in his discipline activities during CPP Topsides hook-up, installation and offshore commissioning phases.
- He/she has a Functional Link to CPP Mechanical/Rotating Engineer for all technical matters.
ACTIVITIES
- To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other COMPANY HSE procedures in all activities.
- To carry out work in compliance with COMPANY values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed COMPANY priorities and objectives, COMPANY standards and procedures and good industry practices.
- To treat all information obtained during course of the work with confidentiality.
- To review and to comment CPP Topsides Contractor's and/or Subcontractors/Vendors' Project Site documentation applicable in the perimeter of the relevant Topside Construction site (Construction plans, fabrication drawings …) and to ensure their full implementation by Contractor and/or Subcontractors/Vendors
- To organise and to participate to routine and random inspections and audits, assists to daily / regular Construction meetings related to his discipline with CPP Topsides Contractor and/or Subcontractors/Vendors , performs QA/QC and/or HSE visits and tours... and ensures an adequate reporting to the Topside Company Site Representative (areas of concerns, problems encountered in its discipline during construction and Pre-commissioning).
- Review and approve the different inspection reports issued by the Contractor and/or Subcontractors/Vendors' on a daily basis.
- Witness inspection activities based on the Quality Control Plan (ITP).
- Ensure that Contractor and Vendors personnel are qualified for the task they've been assigned to.
- Issue Non-Conformance reports or review Contractor Non-Conformance reports and validate dispositions. Intervene as necessary where warranted.
- Issue and/or participate in the issuance of CMS Deviation applicable to Mechanical activity.
- Participate in the resolution of DEV and TQ with the support of MP Mechanical / Rotating Engineer.
- Participate in the weekly meeting and in the issuance of weekly report and KPIs.
- Review manufacturing records books.
- Assist reporting during all phases and more particularly the close-out report and lesson learn.
