Crane Maintenance Technician

Requirements Our Mechanical Handling Services (MHS) division offers specialist capabilities in cranes and lifting operations, maintenance & inspections and hydraulic or fluid power engineering solutions. As a result of rapid growth and award of multiple new contracts we are currently seeking additional proactive and hands on Crane Technicians to join our team and support our projects Offshore. This is a full time role with career progression opportunities. Key responsibilities Carry out inspections, maintenance and servicing of hydraulic, mechanical or electrical aspects of offshore cranes. Collate maintenance reports/worksheets/certificates providing recommendations requiring further attention or improvement. Fault-finding hydraulic/mechanical and/or electrical systems Have the knowledge and/or experience to effectively assess the tools and materials required to carry out the work to be undertaken. Have the knowledge and/or experience to identify the standards and best work practices required to safely maintain offshore pedestal cranes. Align with and operate under both EnerMech and client safety systems, processes and procedures. Coordinate with engineers in work-pack development & close out reports. Trade Qualifications, experience and skills MSIC OPITO BOSIET Working at Heights (preferred) Enter & Work in Confined Space (preferred) IRATA Rope Access (preferred) Rigging HWRL (preferred) Experience maintaining offshore or tower cranes (mobile experience also considered) Ability to read and execute work packs. Building meaningful relationships with client's personnel Salary is based on experience as part of the flying squad you receive a retention salary plus daily site allowances Salary Range $75,000 - $90,000 but this is not including allowances for offshore works. Earning potential is much higher! This position will suit applicants who have flexibility with rosters and are able to work offshore as per operational requirements.
