The individual must have a current certification in crane operation.
Essential Duties
-
Operate Manitowoc 3900W lattice boom friction crane
-
Operate forklift
-
Operate drydock
-
Operate shift boat
-
Maintain equipment in a clean and safe condition
-
Identify and address all issues that may affect the successful completion of assigned projects
-
Will be required to wear personal protective equipment- hard hat, safety glasses, steel toe boots/shoes and, when necessary, respirator
-
Work independently to complete responsibilities
-
Must have regular, reliable attendance
-
Other duties may be assigned as workload requirements dictate
Minimum Qualifications
-
Must have recent experience in operating a lattice boom crane
-
Minimum 5 years crane operating experience
-
Maintenance ability preferred
-
Must be able to work effectively with others
-
Must be a steady, reliable worker
-
Must be able to comprehend and follow complex instructions
-
Must be self motivated and able to complete responsibilities with minimal supervision
This is a fulltime position, however crane operations are not continuous. Must be willing to perform other work such as maintaining equipment, operating other equipment, welding if skilled, etc.

Conley Marine Services provides Subchapter M compliance support including, but not limited to, TSMS Manual and Document Development , Gap Analysis of shipboard and shore side operations, implementation and change management for the tug and tow boat sector of the commercial marine industry.
