You must be a minimum 1st year apprentice with proven hands-on experience.What’s in it for You?Full benefitsGreat cultureLow staff turnoverCompensation & Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, with the possibility of overtime and occasional weekendsSome travel will be requiredPosition Summary: Safely operate crane to lift, move, and position heavy materials, while adhering to all regulations.Perform routine mechanical maintenance and safety inspections on the crane, boom, and other related equipment, which includes cleaning, lubricating, checking fluid levels, tires, brakes, and safety devices.Assemble boom sections to extend or modify boom for pile driving or high lifting.Rig loads and determine load capacities, boom angles, and lift configurations.Monitor weather conditions. Meticulously maintain accurate records of all logbooks, inspection reports, and other paperwork as required.Perform other general labourer duties when crane is not in operation.Required Qualifications: Minimum 1st year crane operator with minimum 1 year of hands-on experienceValid class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstractAbility to problem solve innovatively and methodically around a variety of challengesAbility to lift 50 lbs. safely and consistentlyA team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbalStrong spatial perception with excellent coordination and manual dexterityBonus Points For: Certified JourneypersonClass 1 driver’s license, with 3+ years driving experienceRight People.
