RemX has an immediate opening for an OVERNIGHT shift-Customer Service Specialist. This is a great opportunity to work for a leading freight forwarder located in Richmond, VA.
Shift: 10 pm -8:30 am Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Must be able to train during normal business hours.
Location: Midlothian, VA/Hybrid work schedule
The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for updating and providing shipment updates to customers through different communication channels.
- Update shipment notes with current status via tracking, tracing and monitoring.
- Data entry of customer shipment information into various databases
- Updating and processing billings
- Stay aware of provider updates by monitoring the Web, fax, email and telephone
- Maintain customer and provider files
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of relevant customer service experience
- Ability to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10 pm - 8:30 am/hybrid work schedule
- Ability to manage multiple pressing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
