Customer Service Supervisor, Sports and Betting

We are looking for a Customer Service Supervisor to support our specialist Sports and Betting team.

The Sports and Betting team is responsible for answering customer queries, with key contact points being related to bet settlement, major sporting events and our latest offers. As a supervisor you will be responsible for the development of a team of advisors and team leaders, so we are keen to welcome candidates who have a desire and passion to coach, develop and motivate others.

Relevant training will be provided from your first day on all aspects of the role, giving you the required skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the role.

Candidates must be prepared to work any five days from seven, including bank holidays and weekends, between the hours of 07:00 and 23:00.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Experience leading a team in a contact centre environment is preferable.
  • In-depth knowledge of sports and betting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for providing an excellent customer experience at all times.
  • Passion to coach, develop and motivate others.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to embrace change and lead by example.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Self-motivation with ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coaching and developing a group of team leaders and advisors to ensure customer experience is at the heart of what we do.
  • Preparing and undertaking coaching and feedback sessions.
  • Creating SMART PDPs for team leaders.
  • Identifying and understanding betting related issues and scenarios that will drive customer contact.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders including managers and senior managers where appropriate.
  • Recommending and driving change to improve performance and enhance the customer experience.
  • Assisting with managerial tasks.
  • Liaising and communicating with operational teams to ensure the customer expectations are met.
