Consultant name: Alfie Woonton Job reference: JO-2212-254432-1 Date posted: 17/05/2024 In-House Data Centre Multi-Skilled HVAC & Air Conditioning Engineer£45k + Bonus + Pension, Days Only (North West London) Want to feel an important valued part of a company?Looking to future proof your career in rapidly expanding sector?Receive investment trough training and career progression?Career development & Large Training Budget In this exciting and strategic role you will be responsible for Operating and maintaining all mechanical, and HVAC equipment and systems under a rigorous change management system to maintain 100% uptime availability as well as Monitoring and troubleshooting site/plant equipment support systems to include logging and responding to incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/ resolution and all other aspects of site support (mechanical, HVAC, generators, fire alarms and suppression etc).Duties: Operating and maintaining all mechanical, and HVAC equipment and systems under a rigorous change management system to maintain 100% uptime availabilityMonitoring and troubleshooting site/plant equipment support systems to include logging and responding to incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/ resolution and all other aspects of site support (mechanical, HVAC, generators, fire alarms and suppression etc)Utilising maximum capabilities of all operational systems including BMS, PMS, CMSManaging sub-contracted resources, as necessary, to deliver a safe and quality service to the businessActivity including completing site documentation before and after work tasks, as appropriateManagement, delivery and oversight of the site Permit to Work (PtW) systemAs part of initial project planning period, develop a stakeholder engagement plan for the internal and external project stakeholders.Deliver the stakeholder engagement plan, ensuring stakeholders understand how they should contribute to the project, and the planned frequency of engagement. Skills and Requirements Good working knowledge of data centre HVAC systems inc chillers/split AC units and associated plant equipment.Excellent written and verbal communication (English) skills essential.Aptitude for trouble-shooting and problem-solving complex issues through Root Cause Analysis (RCA)Knowledge of BMS systemsGood understanding of PPM/CAFM systemsExperience in troubleshooting/repair of mechanical/HVAC systemsExperience of maintaining Pumps, HVAC Systems, Compressors, Boilers, steam systems and ancillary services, (DHW skids), Chillers, Cooling Towers, Clean steam Boilers, Purified Water Systems, CIP systems, Generators and other associated systemsLegionella Awareness qualificationIT literate, MS Office (Word/Excel etc) Alfie Woonton
