Position Overview:

KODA Technologies is seeking a Data Scientist with experience in entity resolution to develop and deploy applications for processing structured and unstructured data into usable data formats for long-term storage, search, and analysis.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD (additional years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree)
• Eight (8) years of experience with such as Java, Scala, or Python, used in support of development and production operations
• Experience with Bayesian Statistics
• Experience in data management processing:
• Experience with AWS

Desired Qualifications:

• Be able to differentiate between what is Deduplication, Canonicalisation, and Record Lineage
• Knowledge of translation experience
• Understand graph algorithms such as connected components
• Experience with search tools - Solr or Elastic Search
• Knowledge of distributed computing is a must - Apache Spark stack
• Have worked in an Agile environment. 
• You have worked on teams that practice Agile methodologies.

Clearance:

• A current/active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
