We are currently looking for a Data Scientist - EV Energy Services to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. A Day in the Life: Work closely with other experts in Machine Learning, Optimization, Energy Systems, Software Engineering, and Business to realize future service concepts of EVs. Analyze & understand EV users from data, and design customer experiences & customer values from findings through data analysis. Hypothesize new energy services (intelligent charging management, personalized charging recommendation, and so on). Develop/manage/improve data workflow for those new energy services. Perform evaluation of prototypes and services, using real-world big data of EVs. Define KPIs with domain experts, and prototype KPI monitoring tools. Bring your creativity to innovate future energy & mobility systems. Who Were Looking for: Masters or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, or a related field. Required skills: Fluency in programming / database (Python, R, SQL, etc.). Familiarity with data visualization / exploration / business intelligence tools (Tableau, etc.). Experience in building or maintaining ETL processes. Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms (k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.). Experience with big data analysis using real-world data for customer analysis. skills: Ph.D. in a related field. 3 or more years of business experience in a related industry field. Experience in AWS / SnowFlake environment. Project experience of online (real-time) data management of IoT devices.
