Data Scientist (NAWAH)

Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in machine learning algorithms, model tuning, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data Lakehouses such as Databricks and Azure Fabric, and will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced data models to solve complex business problems.

Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability

Develop and Implement Models:

•    Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms.

•    Perform data analysis and model tuning to improve accuracy and performance.

Data Management:

•    Work with large datasets and data Lakehouses, including Databricks and Azure Fabric.

Collaboration:

•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

Communication:

•    Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and visualizations.

Continuous Learning:

•    Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.

Professional Certifications
Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience

•    5-7 years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning and model tuning.

•    Proficiency in programming such as Python, R, or SQL.

•    Experience with data Lakehouses, particularly Databricks and/or Azure Fabric.

•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

•    Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Qualifications:

•    Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.

•    Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure.

•    Familiarity with data visualization tools such as SAC, or Power BI
