Position Summary:
This role will be comprised of two components.
Develop MRP system and Planning will be the primary responsibility with Customer Service Specialist as secondary.
Oversees and organizes data to increase efficiency of OEM and repair work. Creates reports aligning customer demand with operational requirements ensuring we meet customer, Supply Chain and Operations targets / goals. This position will work with Account Representatives supporting customer quotes and will be the primary contact for OEM customers managing customer schedules and shipments.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
Acts proactively to always support safety. Safety is ALWAYS first
Identifies/develops MRP system and tools required to align Supply Chain and Ops with Customer requirements
Ensures inventory and WIP meet customer OTD
Manage supply & demand assuring optimal inventory, productive factory workflow & best value for Airtomic
Work with internal/external customers to clarify and resolve issues
Improve operational efficiencies
Develops a technical understanding of the Airtomic products
Perform all other duties as required
Secondary Customer Service Responsibilities:
Acts as a representative for assigned customers
Communicate technical information to the customer
Provide clear, timely responses and detailed quotations to the assigned customer base
Materials and WIP are organized to meet OTD and inventory targets
Quotations are completed on time
Perform all other duties as required
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
Detail orientated and organized
Results Oriented
Excellent verbal, writing, listening, and interpersonal skills interacting levels of internal and external customers
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong analytical and decision-making skills with ability to exercise informed risk taking
Ability to prioritize and to work without close supervision
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
OEM or Overhaul Engine planning experience
MRP knowledge
Planning / Scheduling in a high mix production environment
Data analysis tools: SQL, Statistical programming, Power BI
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years in an industry environment focusing on planning/scheduling ops/multi-layered projects
Strong background/focus on data analysis/report development (Excel, Pivot Tables, Microsoft Queries, Power BI)
Must be multi-task/project oriented, ability to meet goals under pressure in fast-paced industry

Travel Requirements:
Up to 10% travel
