With a strong order book and due to growth into various export markets they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team. Role & Responsibilities: Respond to machine breakdowns with a view to minimising downtime and improving long term machine reliabilityExecution of the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineer’s plan to work preventatively in addition to reactivelyUse of appropriate root cause analysis tools & 5SActively support a culture of Continuous Improvement, looking at ways to engineer out persistent problemsCarry out routine Planned Preventative MaintenanceAccurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting system Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Formal Engineering Qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trained Continuous improvement knowledge Strong knowledge of good engineering standards Experience in Engineering, manufacturing or production environments Benefits Package: £42,000 – £48,000Monday – Friday days + Plenty of overtime
