Demand Planning Specialist

JOB DUTIES:To help coordinate and manage the demand & supply planning process with the aim to create a reliable, unbiased unconstrained demand plan on a specific horizon and perimeter.Use forecast accuracy metrics to draw insights and make recommendations on forecasting modes and mix optimization.Identify biases in forecasting methods (Statistical Forecast, Delfor, Backlog, etc.) and engage stakeholders to drive continuous improvements actions (Sales Org., Analytics/BI Team).Develop a strong understanding of demand drivers on the short term (Demand Sensing) by continuously collaborating with market, internal customer, and product experts and identifying relevant data sources.Perform week over week variance analysis and document key assumptions.Work with Business Analytics & Power BI team to guide the development of explorative analytics and statistical forecast models (e.g., providing clear targets, identifying potential drivers/biases)Interface with Business management, Sales Unit and Group/Central Supply chain team to analyze gaps at executional level vs plan (forecast did not materialize, unconstrained demand not fully served, etc. ) Profile EDUCATION / PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:Degree (Bachelor, MBA, MSc), preferred in Science (Engineering or related fields) or Business.2-5 years of experience Past experience preferred in forecasting, or a planning role with a particular emphasis on demand, inventory planning, analysis, and modeling.Business understanding of market and customer landscape for GEO and distribution channels in a semiconductor company a plus.Excellent analytical skills, ability to synthesize information, understand big picture and present logical recommendations.Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the demand process.Ability to deliver work in a fast-paced environment with urgency.Experienced with Excel and Power BI a must.Understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.High attention to detail.Position location Job locationAmericas, United statesCandidate criteria Education level required4 - Bachelor degree Experience level required2-5 years LanguagesEnglish (3- Advanced)Requester Desired start date01/04/2024
