Depot Operations Manager

Location: Gosport



Salary: £40,000



Summary:



At Bis Henderson, we are supporting a growing logistics business within the FMCG sector. They are currently seeking a Depot Operations Manager to join their site at Gosport. This will involve managing a small but growing team, so the desirable candidate will be highly driven, and looking to grow and develop within the business in line with the company's continued success. The successful candidate will also strive to achieve operational excellence, through guiding the team and delivering an outstanding customer service to clients in line with the company standards and values.

Key Responsibilities:



* Lead business activities and operations across the depot, improving operational performance, maximising revenue and developing talent.



* Responsible for the overall planning and organisation of logistics workloads.



* Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on depot KPI's, and using this to formulate a strategy within the business that aligns with growth plans.



* Ensuring compliance to legislative requirements, such as Quality and Health & Safety regulations, as well as internal SOP's at all times.



* P&L responsibility.



* Ensure highest standards of service to customers is achieved.



Key Skills/Experience:



* Previous experience within a 3PL environment managing multiple customers.



* Experience in fast-paced and temperature-controlled environments, such as food or pharmaceuticals is particularly desirable.



* Driven individual, who is looking to lead a growing operation.



* Highly customer-focused, able to deliver an outstanding service to clients in line with business standards and values.



* Excellent leadership skills, able to lead by example to guide and support the team in the right direction.
