Design Engineer

Are you a Design Engineer or Industrial Designer looking for a new challenge? Are you interested in working in a highly collaborative studio and with loads of amenities (and dogs!)?  Are you ready to bring sketches to life and help create industry leading experiential experiences for well-known brands and clients?





As a Design Engineer at Aardvark studios…





You will work closely with our Project Management, Design and Tech teams to help make ideas a reality for our clients. You’ll work on a variety of projects spanning mobile experiences, custom fabricated assets and museum quality props and furnishings. 





QUALIFICATIONS:





What makes you the ideal candidate:





3+ years of experience working in a company as a designer (vs. freelance)





A degree in industrial design, furniture design, architecture, or a related field is but not required.





Must have experience using Solidworks





Experience with Rhino, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or Fusion 360 would be a plus





Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.





Proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.





Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, action-oriented mindset.





Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.





A strong moral compass and willingness to do what it takes to exceed client expectations





Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail





Ability to work productively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment





Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for building





What else is helpful:
