Design Engineer- Outfit

BAE Systems is seeking a skilled Design Engineer with expertise in Outfit engineering to join their team in Scotstoun. This is a contract role with a duration of 12 months, offering the opportunity to contribute to critical maritime projects. The role features hybrid working options.



Key Responsibilities:



Designing and developing outfit engineering solutions for maritime naval ships

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that outfit engineering integrates seamlessly with overall ship design

Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation

Conducting assessments and providing recommendations for outfit engineering improvements

Participating in project meetings and providing technical insights

Supporting project delivery within the schedule and budget constraints



Job Requirements:



Experience in outfit or layout engineering

Understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements
