Design Engineer Solidworks

This position of the Design Engineer based within Cardiff, you will be responsible for programming and designing the full product range.



* You will have the authority to suggest differnt ideas to customers to improve the product and customer satisfaction



* You will be involved in new product introduction



* Use SoldWorks to design new and amend excisting changes to ensure the product matches the required specification



* Use programming software to creat programs



* Support other departments when required



* Provide BOM's if requested



* Comply with companys policies and procedures, with regards to Health and Safety, HR and Quality.



* To ensure the drawings and programmes are controlled according to the requirements of ISO9001



Requirements



* Must have worked within a similar role within Manufacturing/Egnineering



* HND level in Mechanical Engineerin, Product Design or similar



* Have worked with SolidWorks or similar



* Experience of CNC Programming



* Knowledge of ERP systems and BOM's
