Design Manager

Blue Water Recruitment are currently looking for a Design Manager to work for a Principal Contractor based in South Wales.



The successful candidate will be working on new build construction projects across South Wales.



Key Responsibilities



* Understand client requirements specs



* Assist in the review of the Design, procurement and construction information to ensure it complies with Project documentation



* Prepares the Design Management Plan



* Manage the flow of design information and the Document Control



* Coordinate the input from the Technical Department



* Manage the preconstruction & construction Design



* Prepares design programme in line with procurement strategies



* Organise, participate and record Design Review Meetings



* Coordinate the Planning Submission



* Coordinate early Building Control input into design principles
