Design Manager - Thames

Our client, a leading company in the water sector, is currently seeking a Design Manager to join their successful team based in the Thames Valley region. This is a permanent, full-time role that combines home and site attendance, offering a mix of projects from smaller capital maintenance to large civil new build schemes.



Key Responsibilities:



Manage and coordinate the design process for water and wastewater projects

Ensure design quality control processes are adhered to

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver designs effectively

Deliver designs and tenders that meet program, budget, and quality requirements

Adapt to changing scenarios and maintain a proactive approach

Understand and manage responsibilities under CDM regulations



Job Requirements:



Qualified design engineer with academic credentials

Chartered or working towards chartership

Experience in managing design quality control processes

Effective collaboration within multidisciplinary and diverse teams

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Understanding of CDM regulations and responsibilities
