Development Engineer - 1 year contract

Please note that this role will be for one year on a fixed term contract.



Our client, a long-term investor, developer, owner and operator of diversified renewable energy and power projects in Africa, is looking for experienced Development Engineer with 5 + years to assist the Engineering team in the management and development of several projects across Africa for a one-year contract.



The pupose if the role is to support the engineering team members in all project development activities including resource data management, conceptual design, yield assessments, due diligence, technical development, cost assessments, tendering, contract preparation and construction monitoring. The role will also be required to manage third-party contractors and contracts. The ideal candidate has experience using softwares such as Quest, WindPro, WAsP, Homer, PVSyst, and GIS software.
