Job Description Development Engineer North Somerset Hybrid Up to £40,000 per annum DOE + Bonus + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Life Assurance + Pension Monday to Friday An experienced Development Engineer sought for a leading global manufacturing company based in North Somerset. The main responsibilities of the Development Engineer are to define and refine the product requirements, manage the product roadmap and oversee the development process. The role will be suited to someone who is experienced with product development methodologies including design, validation and manufacturing transition. As well as a strong understanding of safety assessments, compliance standards and regulations. The Role: Participate in HAZOP/DFMEA studies Carry out record risk assessments as required in the execution of a project. Support the introduction of new products. Type testing and compliance testing of designs, including design of experiment. Design and develop all mechanical aspects of a product range and participate in design reviews.
