Development Engineer\n\nMilton Keynes\n\n£40,000 - 60,000 - dependant on experience\n\nT2M Resourcing are currently working alongside an innovative automotive manufacturing business who focus on powertrain development to help them to recruit a Development Engineer.\n\nAs a Development Engineer, you would be responsible for developing and delivering powertrain systems for a variety of applications, predominantly focussing on projects within the motorsports and automotive sectors.\n\nKey Responsibilities as a Development Engineer\n\n * Oversee the planning, design, development and testing of systems in line with client requirements.\n\n * Work closely with design, production and manufacturing engineers overseeing all stages of projects.\n\n * To develop and implement test procedures and then interpret and analyse the results and data of these tests, to report and present data to clients and managers.\n\n * Management and coordination of a concerns database, ensuring all issues are logged.\n\n * To demonstrate through testing that the system/features meet all specified requirements.\n\nRequirements to be a successful Development Engineer\n\n * Experience of or an interest in powertrain Engineering/Development.\n\n * Knowledge of project delivery within an engineering systems environment essential.\n\n * Experience of working with Electric motors or inverters beneficial.\n\n * Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.\n\n * Strong technical report writing skills, with experience in delivering presentations.\n\n * Degree qualified in a relevant engineering subject.\n\nBased from the company’s headquarters in Milton Keynes this opportunity will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to work on a number of exciting projects within the automotive and motorsports sectors.\n\nThere is flexibility on salary depending on level of experience, with the package also including a Private Medical plan, a good holiday allowance growing with service and the option to join an Electrical Vehicle Sacrifice Scheme
