Our client are one of Europe’s fastest growing developers of renewable energy. Backed by a powerful European infrastructure fund and led by a team of seasoned renewable executives, our client develop large-scale solar projects across the market.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development of solar project in different regions of Italy obtaining , regional, and local permits and licenses. Manage the authorization process to get the RTB
• Managing the permitting process, including liaising with local authorities and other public bodies; contacting landowners to negotiate land lease agreements and easements.
• Coordinating codevelopers and professional service providers to secure the correct filing and the development to the permitting process also in coordination with other departments such as legal and engineering, organizing data rooms, tracking projects status, being able to evaluate risks and provide advice and mitigation plan development.
• Controlling timelines and milestones on the development of projects and providing reports to management.
• Coordinating with other Nexun departments (Legal, Technical, Financial) based abroad.
• Managing the relationship with project stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in managing the development phase of Large Scale Solar energy projects
• Hands on experience in grid applications, environmental permitting, administrative authorisations, etc.
• Solid understanding of environmental constraints and legal/technical documentation review and negotiations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects at the same time.
• User level experience with financial models to assess project returns and evaluate impact of different assumptions.
• Personal & Soft Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work autonomously and multi-task
• Languages: Italian mother . Good level of English.
