Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionAs the DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the infrastructure, managing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and ensuring the scalability, performance, and security of our platforms. This role requires a solid background in DevOps practices and good understanding or working knowledge in cloud environments to ensure our platforms run efficiently and can scale with demand
What you'll do: • Good knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies and use of key-based authentication.• Experience in data storage and movement solutions (SQL Server, Cloud SQL)• Good Operating Knowledge in deploying applications Windows and Linux Operating Systems• Expertise in modern DEVOPS stack, for example: Git/ Team City/ / JMeter and ability to troubleshoot its processes • Good knowledge of scripting : UNIX Shell. Groovy and Python are a plus. • Proficiency in .Net Framework, SQL Server• Working knowledge of log analysis and monitoring tools: Elastic, Logstash, Kibana, New Relic, SolarWinds, Prometheus, Grafana• Working knowledge of Release Management process (good to have: Service Now/Jira/Confluence).• Passionate about constantly improving and gaining efficiency through process optimization and automation.• Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure and working knowledge of orchestration/observability (Containers, Terraform, Kubernetes, ELK etc.) and Cloud Networking implementing and maintaining Virtual Networks, Routing, Subnets, Load Balancers, Network ACLs etc. would be a plus. • Work closely with Engineering, QA and Ops to maintain necessary infrastructure for CI/CD and automated testing workloads
What you'll have: • Expertise in modern DEVOPS stack, for example: Git/ TeamCity / Octopus Deploy/JMeter and ability to troubleshoot its processes. • Experience with Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or other cloud/ container technologies • Good Understanding of cloud architecture, Azure knowledge preferable • Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds, New Relic, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana. • good to have: Service Now/Jira/Confluence• Source Code Management –Git/SVN/CC etc. • Shell scripts for bash and PowerShell. Build pipeline creation.• Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and diagnostic skills• Good communication skills –this is very important as the candidate must regularly interact with the Dev, QA and Ops team.
