Below is the JD, but also to keep in mind someone with someone who knows to manage the DevOps tools from the infrastructure perspective.
As a DevOps tools Specialist, you will be working closely with Software Development and Operations teams by managing the platform that they use daily for builds and deployments.
Job Responsibilities:
Support for administration, troubleshooting, configuration, installation, deployment, maintenance, upgrades on On-premises and Cloud Infrastructure.
Provide day-to-day operational support including responding to incidents, troubleshooting, and executing corrective action.
Interact with development teams to support deployments, rollbacks, application verification, Smoke Tests, and production tasks as necessary
Coordinate with a different teams and support groups to resolve issues with the Software, applications, Operating System (Linux/Windows) and Cloud Services.
Maintain various DevOps related tools and scripts on various environments (dev, test, pre-prod, prod) on on-premises & Red Hat cloud infrastructure.
Provide weekly status to management (Internal and Client)
Required Skills:
3+ years of hands-on administration experience managing Jenkins (CI), Github, Artifactory, Sonarqube, XLR/XLD technologies on AWS environment is required
hands-on experience in upgrading above products
Experience in assisting application or DevOps team in Troubleshooting build or deploy issues
Experience working within an Agile Environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
