DevOps Engineer (Hybrid)

We work with a wide range of clients across many industries including financial services, professional services, telecommunications and media, consumer products, automotive, industrial automation, professional sports and entertainment, life sciences, ecommerce, and education.Primary skill: Strong DevOps skills and experience – CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure automation (Infrastructure-as-Code), Terraform, Docker, Container-orchestration systems, Kubernetes, Linux (RHEL), Cloud Security, Deployments in GCP and Azure.Secondary skill: Either Test Automation or Development with Java (in short, we are not looking for pure DevOps engineer, but DevOps+)Role and Responsibilities: Develop, deploy and monitor cloud functions (serverless) as well as cloud services to meet and exceed service level agreements.Contribute to continuous integration and code deployment for large scale software releases.Creating Jenkins pipelines, debugging pipeline issues.Support CI/CD tools integration/operations/change management, and maintenance.Support full automation of CI/Testing & deployments.Maintain and support GCP and Azure environments. Experience required: Proficient in CI/CD, DevOps, GKE and AKS (Kubernetes)Experience in Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, Automation, BDD.Experience in Terraform, ARM and Ansible.Working knowledge of Helm Charts.Experience in Google cloud deployment in Multi-Region, Google Spanner, Google monitoring tools, cloud security, Google Secret Manager, Istio.Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Sonar, Coverity is a huge plus.Experience with Container-orchestration systems like Kubernetes.Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.Ability to effectively collaborate with distributed team.Familiarity with entire flow from code to production.Thorough knowledge of software development best practices, Agile, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
