Because patients typically come to us when they aren't feeling their best, it is incredibly important to us that our staff members strive to provide the compassion and emotional support our patients need. Our Urgent Care Center is located at 170 University Drive, Amherst. The operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday & Sunday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. We are open on major holidays 9:00am to 5:00pm, but closed Thanksgiving and Christmas. The Opportunity We are seeking a per diem Radiologic Tech to join our team Since Urgent Care is a 7-day-per-week operation that delivers care days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, we request staff to be flexible with scheduling needs, and take on weekend/holiday coverage as needed. As a small but strong team of 1-2 providers and 2-3 support staff, our Radiologic Techs also perform administrative duties, such as checking in patients, while also functioning as part of a collaborative team. The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiographic procedures using stationary, portable, and specialized equipment at a technical and professional level that does not require constant supervision and is of acceptable quality. however, you may also be asked to float to other locations for training/precepting purposes or during times of staffing shortages/other extenuating circumstances (for cross-coverage purposes). This position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
