Location: Williston, ND
Our company is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our trucking fleet. While this role focuses on diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, our ideal candidate is also comfortable working as a technician who can diagnose and repair technology issues in older trucks, primarily CAT C15 and Detroit 12.7. In addition to making repairs, you will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on diesel engines, brakes, transmissions, and other systems. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus, one must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Diesel Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines
- Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Perform welding or fabrication tasks on trailers and other equipment as necessary
- Prepare work orders and order parts
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace
Diesel Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate ()
- Valid driver's license (CDL strongly )
- Diesel technician or mechanic degree a plus
- Experience with direct drive Vac systems
- Some welding experience is required
- Mechanical skills
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills
