Diesel Mechanic

Talento Search Group has an opening for a Diesel Mechanic in the Cleveland, Georgia area.  This is a direct-hire position and the pay rate is between $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance on rolling stock equipment, forklifts, trailers, and semi trucks
Perform repairs and diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, and brake systems
Perform tire mounting, balancing, and repairs
Assist other maintenance staff with preventive maintenance on stationary equipment
Perform air brake inspections and repairs
Repair trailers electrical, ABS, and braking systems
Ensure backup alarms, horns, strobe lights, parking break, and seat belt are in working order on forklifts
Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers
Check, evaluate, service, and repair all trailers as they enter the yard

Experience Needed:

At least 4 years of diesel mechanic experience
Strong experience repairing forklifts, trailers, and diesel trucks
Must have experience repairing diesel engines
Must have valid Drivers License
