Job Summary:
This position involves repairing and performing preventive maintenance on diesel-powered vehicles, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. The role includes diagnostic and repair tasks to maintain fleet operations, supporting contracts in Arizona, Utah, and Wyoming. The work is based in Salt Lake City, UT, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including inspecting and troubleshooting vehicles.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA, UDOT, and other regulations.
• Test equipment for performance and compliance.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience with diesel engine repair and troubleshooting.
• Valid driver’s license; Class B CDL .
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must have own mechanic's tool set and ability to use diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various conditions.
• Must pass a drug test and meet company driving standards.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions, including field and shop environments.
