Technician in School Bus Operation

Brightbill Body Works, Inc. has been serving the transportation industry since 1919. Our relationship with Blue Bird school buses began in 1962. We have been a Blue Bird dealer since and began stocking Blue Bird body and Blue Bird chassis parts ever since. We sell new and used school buses, commercial buses, shuttle buses, non-emergency vans, shuttle vans, transit vans, church buses, limo coaches and vans, paratransit buses, assisted living shuttle vans, along with many other customized specialty vehicles. Brightbill offers a commercial vehicle option for almost any application.

Service Center

Brightbill Body Works, Inc commercial bus, school bus and commercial van service center offers a complete range of service repair, maintenance repair, refurbishing and collision repair. Our certified technicians using state-of-the-art equipment provide:

• PA State Inspection Center
• Cummins Engine Repair
• Electrical Wiring: Starting, Charging & Lighting
• Hydraulic & Air Brakes
• Complete Preventative Maintenance Programs
• Maintenance of A/C Systems
• Factory Warranty Repairs

• Bus Refurbishing Services
• Glass & Windshield Replacement
• Seating Repair, Replacement & Maintenance
• Wheel Chair Lift Installations & Service
• Wheel Chair Tie Down Installations

We perform preventative maintenance, factory warranty repairs and service on all commercial bus, school bus, shuttle vans, limousine buses, commercial vans, ADA certified wheelchair lift vehicles and parts sold by Brightbill. We service all the manufacturers vehicle products sold by Brightbill.

Essential Duties and Qualifications

• State Inspection License
• CDL (Class B)
• Electrical background, air brake knowledge and diesel engine familiarity
• Conduct bus inspections, diagnostics, identification of worn and damaged parts
• Maintain vehicle records by noting services and repairs

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience
• Mechanical tools
• Verbal communication, motivated and disciplined

Full time position available immediately

Pay range: $30-$40/hr. depending on experience and knowledge
