Diesel Truck Mechanic Technician (Non Experienced and Experienced)

We are looking for Diesel Truck Technicians/Mechanics to join our team! We would love for you to have some mechanical aptitude; however, we have apprentice and training opportunities available for individuals wanting to learn this excellent career pathway.  

Responsibilities:

• Service and repair trucks, buses, and other medium and heavy vehicles
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance
• Use diagnostic tools, computers, and other technologies to test and repair units

• ask assignments are directed by shop management to encourage development in a productive manne

• Performs standard component inspections and repairs

• Performs preventive maintenance

• Diagnoses standard mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable

• Identifies root cause of basic failures/conditions and perform repairs as required

• Replaces defective components as instructed

• Works in accordance with all federal/ provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e., safety, DOT, MOT)
