Digital Print Production Operator

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate digital printing equipment, including Wide Format Printers, Black and White Printers, and finishing
equipment. - Set up print jobs according to specifications, including selecting appropriate materials, adjusting
settings, and calibrating profiles. - Monitor print quality throughout the production process, making adjustments as necessary to
maintain high standards. - Perform routine maintenance tasks on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and
troubleshoot any technical issues that arise. - Collaborate with the production team to prioritize and schedule print jobs, ensuring timely
delivery. - Maintain inventory of printing supplies and materials, reordering as needed to support
production requirements. - Follow established quality control procedures to minimize errors and ensure accuracy in printed
materials. - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in digital printing to enhance production
efficiency and quality. - Provide assistance to other team members as needed and participate in cross-training activities
to develop a versatile skill set.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in printing or
related field is . - Proven experience operating digital printing equipment, preferably in a commercial or
production printing environment. - Strong knowledge of print production processes, including file preparation, management, and finishing techniques.
- Proficiency in using printing software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, RIP software, and calibration devices.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.
- Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with colleagues and fulfill customer requirements.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing production demands.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety guidelines
