Exciting new opportunity for an experienced Service Technician to join a long-standing, family-owned organisation that puts its people first. Excellent pay, company vehicle, and overtime payments available.
We are looking to recruit a fully skilled and experienced Digital Print Service Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery, installation, servicing, and customer training of Industrial Digital Print equipment across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Equipment preparation (New printers)
* Delivery, installation, and training of print users
* Printer repair and servicing both at base and customer premises
* UK-wide travel with occasional hotel stopovers
* Equipment demonstrations
Skills & Experience Required:
* Must be able to analyse, service, and repair digital printers
* Experience of Piezo print technology – Electrical/Electronic links
* Ability to fault-find on technical products
* Strong customer-facing skills
* Ability to work independently with self-motivation
* Ability to work across different product platforms
* Willingness to learn new skills
* Strong understanding of computer software-related programs
Experience:
* We are ideally looking for candidates with experience in Digital Textile Printing machinery, utilising Roll to Roll or Flatbed printers, and experience with multiple ink sets and their applications.
* Knowledge of digital print systems using water-based pigment and UV ink sets for textile and hard product printing
* Experience and knowledge of RIP software
* Understanding of digital graphic images, gamut, and preparation
* Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Corel Draw for pattern preparation
