Job Summary
Day-to-day duties include rigging up/rigging down a Unit, pulling and testing water samples using Palin Tester and Ph tester; and accurately documenting results on paperwork and share with Operator. This position works 12-hour shifts.
Primary Job Duties
- Conduct scheduled walk around to pull samples and check meters and gauges on equipment.
- Make sure daily operations follow EPA and OSHA regulations.
- Communicate with customers and third-party vendors, as well as other internal customers.
- Maintain daily housekeeping at the work site.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Comply with general policies and procedures of Bosque Systems, LLC.
Scope and Accountabilities
- Follow Bosque Disposal Systems LLC policies and procedures.
- Inform supervisor promptly of any issues.
- Must stay on location at all times to maintain oversight of the unit.
Required Competencies / Prerequisites
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 6 to 12 months of related experience and/or training.
- Able to read, write and use basic math.
- Able to use basic computer skills.
- Able to meet and continue to meet safe driver requirements and maintain valid driver's license, satisfactory driving history.
- All Safety Certifications current
- Completed Bosque Dionix Technician Trainee Program and required certification testing.
Physical Requirements
- With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions. In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include:
- Light to moderate physical effort required
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds on occasion
- Regularly required to walk, reach, and move about the Unit and facility
- Works indoors and outdoors, in and around mechanical, industrial, and electrical equipment and trucks
- Required to regularly walk, reach, and move about the Unit and facility
- Regular use of truck required in the performance of duties
- Works in temperature extremes due to weather conditions and operating equipment
- Wears safety equipment as required
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required and must be worn when in the shop.
- Steel-toed safety shoes (Employee must provide)
- Safety Glasses (Provided by employer)
- Hard hats (Provided by employer
- FRC (fire retardant clothing) attire (Provided by employer)
- H2S Monitor & Proper Dionix Equipment (Provided by employer)
