We are working with developers and operators of clean energy and transmission assets as they look to transform their portfolios to meet the worlds decarbonisation ambition.To support this in Australia and New Zealand region, we are seeking to appoint a Director with a proven background in delivering projects and programs in the Transmission sector. Every day we help our clients deliver projects in over 118 offices and 47 countries worldwide.Job DescriptionAs a Director of Clean Energy and Transmission, you will have:Experience in the power sector with deep knowledge of Transmission & Distribution projects, programs & portfolios. Experience in the development and delivery of Clean Energy and Storage schemes connecting to the grid is also highly desirable.Established relationships with state, national and international clients, and understand the requirements for strategy, set-up, and delivery of capital projects & programs.Experience in leading teams and providing advice on complex projects across the electricity sector from pursuits and bids through to execution and deliveryTechnical understanding of Project Management, Commercial Management and Project Controls, and the interfaces with engineering and grid compliance .Experience in pursing and responding to government style tendersA track record of achieving business growth in the provision of services and market share in the Transmission SectorExperience to engage at industry level to represent the business and brand building at key industry and sector eventsAn expectation to travel throughout Australia & New Zealand to support the growth of our Transmission sector value offering.Qualifications20+ years of relevant industry experience predominantly in the Energy and Transmission.A recognised Degree qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar.An electrical technical background whilst not mandatory for the role, will be considered advantageous in delivering the roleExperience working in the transmission sector, with a proven track record in successfully delivering major projects and programs.A broad understanding of the electricity value chain from generation, through grid, and into supply, and of regulatory and permitting requirements and industry trends.Preference for Australian experience with an established network within the power & transmission industry supply chain.Experience of working within both client and consultant environments an advantage.Experience adopting a ‘key client’ partnering approach and supporting growth through such relationships.Proactive approach to business development via new and existing clients, including cross-selling opportunities, and leading pursuits and tenders.Have a passion for mentoring the team and future generations.Additional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
