Director, Commercial Operations, dPCR

QIAGEN’s Director, Commercial Development dPCR is a key leadership position with the North American Sales organization managing the continuation of QIAGEN’s digital PCR franchise. Overseeing a team of business development managers, business segment managers and the continued buildout of QIAGEN’s digital PCR specialists team. This role is integral to the building of a market leading franchise. - Responsible to achieve the revenue budget for dPCR throughout North America. - Refine and adjust Go-To-Market strategies and sales execution- Influence internal & external stakeholders to drive adoptions of dPCR. - Ensures effective penetration in the North American market to provide pre- and post-sales technical support on digital PCR and supporting reagents, assays and content.- In conjunction with regional and global teams develops pre-sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical seminars for individuals and groups in response to field sales requests.- Fosters QIAGEN’ s sample-to-insight offering and develops workflow sales from sample isolation down to data analysis and interpretation- Within a leadership position ensures the team maintains and develops relationships with key customers and references. Increases customer satisfaction. Develops new business opportunities in all market segments.- Forecasts related product revenues- Works closely together with regional and global marketing managers to provide market feedback and to develop to action plans.- Works with regional teams to align actions and leverage synergies to exceed sales targets.- Identify unmet needs in the market & develop KOLs to drive new applications/ opportunities.- Minimum of 8 years’ in Regional sales and/or Business Development and/or Product marketing experiences- Minimum education: Bachelor of Science or equivalent- Experience of dPCR techniques, dPCR assay design and optimization mandatory.-Experience with different dPCR instruments.- Strong verbal (oral and written) and presentation skills required.- A combination of expert troubleshooting and interpersonal skills are the keys to success in this position.- Knowledge of relevant markets. - Fluent English and additional language skills.- Location: The candidate will be responsible for National Accounts; Ideal candidate will based in a major city.- Excellent communication skills at all business levels.- Customer focused and solution oriented.- Highly motivated and self-organized person with the ability to work independently and in teams in a structured manner.- Willingness to travel across the region.QIAGEN requires proof of full COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment for new hires in all U.S. states other than Montana effective as of September 1, .
