West Coast QSR Group with strong development plans in Texas, LA, Ohio, and Nevada is conducting a search for a QSR Director of Construction . Must live near a major airport and be able to travel as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees all construction activities for the Company's Brands ensuring that that the organization is strategically aligned to meet its goals. Will work with and supervise multiple direct reports as well as the activity of outside subject matter experts, such as architects, real estate departments and engineers. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Partners effectively with operations management in the field and other functional areas in the Support Center.


  • Responsible for reviewing plans for compliance with company standards, engineering principles, customer contact requirements, and other specifications.
  • Responsible for the achieving the department's staffing goals, succession planning, training and development, rewarding and disciplining, and addressing the needs of his or her team.
  • Project completion reporting, budgeting, design supervision and review, construction costs, as well as executive reporting.
  • Establishes scope of projects, milestone schedules, and estimates of external professional skills.
  • Directs and coordinates the planning, organization, integration, control, and completion of construction projects for QSR Group.
  • Must have extensive experience and have strong credibility and professional judgment.

  • Knowledge of all federal, state and local regulatory requirements applicable to project planning, land acquisition, design and construction
  • Considerable knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of supervision, organization and administration


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Requires a bachelor's degree preferably in Construction Management or Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated successful supervision of construction project managers and/or job superintendents.
