BIM Technologies is expanding its services and is seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to help lead the transition. As we move towards providing complete engineering solutions, the Director of Engineering will collaborate closely with architects and other stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions. This is a pivotal role that will shape the future of our engineering team and ensure we meet the growing demands of the AEC industry.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and execution of engineering solutions in collaboration with architects and other professionals.
- Oversee the integration of BIM processes with traditional engineering practices to create seamless workflows.
- Manage engineering aspects of projects, from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure technical quality and accuracy in engineering deliverables, focusing on structural integrity, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new engineering technologies and tools, including Autodesk Revit and other BIM-related software.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee external engineering consultants to ensure project success.
- Apply risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential challenges during project execution.
- Promote the adoption of best practices in engineering processes, focusing on efficiency, data management, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and support the development of engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation and professional growth.

Skills
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other BIM software tools.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, including structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles and their application in construction projects.
- Experience with data management, integration, and transformation processes in an engineering context.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on fostering collaboration and improving team performance.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure quality control throughout project execution.
