Our client is on the lookout for an experienced and visionary Director of Engineering and Reliability to lead their dynamic team in the Newark, NJ area. As the Director of Engineering and Reliability, you'll be at the heart of transforming operations, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring world-class reliability in production. Your leadership will directly impact the Engineering and Maintenance Departments, focusing on enhancing processes, reducing costs, and achieving top-tier performance standards.

What You’ll Do:

· Lead a team in leveraging 10 years of experience in paper manufacturing and

· Champion safety initiatives, leading by example to continuously improve safety results across the organization

· Develop and execute strategic plans that foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

· Drive cost reduction efforts while increasing production efficiency and ensuring overall reliability

What We’re Looking For:

· Engineering Degree (Required)

· 10 years of experience in pulp and paper manufacturing

· 10 years of management experience, with a proven ability to lead and inspire teams

· Strong background in process improvement and delivering measurable results

· Lean Six Sigma experience is a major plus!
