Director Financial Planning and Analysis

DescriptionThe Director, Financial Planning and Analysis will oversee the financial analysis function for Food and ISR (Management Systems) Divisions, providing analysis on a PTD, YTD and YOY basis with strong variance explanations. The Director, Financial Planning and Analysis will work with senior division management to ensure that financial goals are well established and appropriately executed. As a key member of the finance leadership team you will build and lead a team and actively model all NSF core values and possess high ethical standards.Principle Accountabilities include, but are not limited to: Provides financial analysis and advice. Train and educate business leaders on the drivers of variances and the relationship between operational metrics and financial performance Creates reports and analyzes profit and loss statements. Prepares financial budget, forecasts and reports. Actively participates with the business leaders in developing forward looking strategy and the associated financial targets. Makes recommendations and creates documentation regarding financial controls. Provides insight regarding financial information systems planning and ensures adherence to established specifications. Development and reporting of consistent metrics across business lines. Collaboratively works with regional finance leads to ensure consistent finance practices globally Leads consolidation of the global division for accurate variance reporting on a monthly basis Revenue accountability: $215 Mil revenue Estimated Org Size 5-6 QualificationsEducation/Experience: Bachelor’s Finance or Accounting Required, MBA, preferred 10 years in finance 5 years as a manager or higher Experience in a global organization, leading a global team; having worked with people in different time zones Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships, understand customer needs and deliver customer-centric solutions aligned with the mission and goals Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
